Sophie Wentzel-Lewis is a Melbourne-based screenwriter and development creative with a love of stories that make you laugh before they take you somewhere unexpected.

Working across film and television, she brings a writer’s instinct for character and story to both her own work and the development of others’. Her experience spans writers’ rooms, script editing and development across everything from comedy and children’s television to drama and psychological thrillers.

Her writing has been recognised by VicScreen, the Australian Writers’ Guild and international screenwriting competitions.
